One such brand was watchmaker Timex. With a large product catalog and local operations in a range of markets, it was facing complex challenges as it looked to expand and migrate from Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
Other Vervaunt clients have faced similar challenges, with budgets escalating into six figure sums, when, with Shopify, they could have simply performed a configuration to deliver the same change.
Given this clear value, while having previously worked with other platforms, Vervaunt has increasingly focused on Shopify to deliver on clients’ scaling needs.

Shopify Markets has been one of the instrumental features for Paul and his team to help clients expand globally. For fashion brand Represent, it has proved particularly successful, helping them seamlessly deploy local language sites and take payments in a range of currencies as it expands its presence.
Vervaunt has also found unified commerce to be a powerful concept that has enabled it to support client growth, and is a solution unique to Shopify.
Being able to integrate POS with online, social channels and more to create a single customer view is very difficult in other ecosystems, according to Paul. He and his team have found Shopify’s unified commerce approach enables them to roll out solutions such as multichannel gift cards or loyalty programmes with ease. The volume and breadth of native apps is also a key differentiating factor that drives greater integration across client’s existing tech stacks.
Paul has also seen how Shopify is enabling merchants to tap into new opportunities and trends, notably in content management through Shopify’s flexible use of templates and components. This is particularly valuable when clients are investing more in building unique content experiences, including by taking their photography studios in-house.
The results: Less maintenance, more strategic success
Thanks to the intuitive nature of Shopify, the breadth of the ecosystems, and the constantly evolving solutions, Vervaunt has been able to upgrade how it works with clients too. Instead of focusing on maintenance and managing upgrades, the team have been able to become strategic partners for their clients. As a result, opportunities have opened up to work with some of the biggest brands on Shopify and the biggest ecommerce migrations.
Vervaunt’s clients have also seen direct benefits. Since migrating to Shopify, Timex has seen significant efficiency benefits. Where it may have taken at least six months to implement a new feature, they can now do so much faster thanks to the simplified architecture that removes the need for large developer teams. As a result of the improvements, they are now introducing a new Mexican store.
Another that has seen strong results is premium childrenswear brand La Coqueta. Since moving to Shopify it has been able to gain more control of the frontend of its site, and internationalize faster, including uploading local pricing and enabling different payment methods.
Working with Shopify has been so successful for Vervaunt that the team is now looking to expand into other areas with their clients, such as B2B and wholesale.
